Incorporated in 1973, Colonial Air's facility is the largest hangar at New Bedford Airport. Owned and operated by the Cunningham family since 1983, we take pride in being a family run company, dedicated to a superior level of service.

Directions to Colonial Air
From points North: Take Rt. 140 South to exit 4. Turn left off the exit onto Mt Pleasant St.. Go approximately ¼ mile. Turn right onto Downey St. (there will be a sign for New Bedford airport). Downey St. turns into Airport road. Follow Airport Road.  Colonial Air will be your last building on your right, at the Avfuel sign.

From points East or West:  Take Rt. 195 to exit 13B (140 North, Taunton).  Take 140 to your second exit, or exit 4. Turn right off the exit.   Turn left onto Mt. Pleasant Street at the stop sign. Go approximately ¼ mile and turn right onto Downey Street (there will be a sign for New Bedford airport). Downey St. turns into Airport road. Follow Airport Road.  Colonial Air will be your last building on your right, at the Avfuel sign.

If you are flying:  Colonial Air is located along Alpha taxiway on the southwest side of runway 5 / 23 and the Control Tower. Plenty of ramp parking right outside the FBO. Line services available. Check out our Line Services page for fuel rates and a list of other services.
